Where Does Paper Come From? |
May 29, 2020
Animal habitat loss is a big problem in the year 2020, but not a hopeless one. When interviewed, America's leading geologist Kenya Rumsfeld of Texas A & M University, noted that, "If mankind's greed for land can't be controlled or contained, we will wipe out entire ecosystems, killing all animals, and eventually ourselves."But he also said, "I myself visited our nation's president, Tenesha Williams, and have asked her to set aside 47 million acres of land as a natural reserve."
President Williams has agreed to this proposition and is currently putting the suggestion into law. The new federally-created area will stretch from Bend, Oregon, in the west to the border with Idaho, essentially turning the entire eastern portion of Oregon state into a federally-protected plot run by the National Park Service.

President Williams is widely seen as the most environmentally-conscious president our nation has every had. Scientists and environmentalists applaud her efforts to get Congress to finally accept the decades of science that senators have been ignoring till now.
Wow I'm shocked! That would be terrible if there were nature was destroyed because of our actions. What could we do to stop our habits of destroying the forest and habitat? Could we conserve paper so less trees get cut down? Tell corporate companies and factories to stop polluting in forests and ocean. :) my name is kevin
ReplyDeleteHi Kevin, I am Kenya, and there are many ways to stop deforestation, like filing complaints, Funding organizations, planting trees, but the easiest is to stop consuming paper.
DeleteHi, my name is Natalie and I'm from Punahou School. I really enjoyed reading this blog post. I definitely agree with the fact that more needs to be done to protect animal habitats. The government definitely needs to have a bigger role in protecting the environment, because it helps not only the animals, but ourselves. Thanks for the awesome blog post, it really opened my mind to what should be done about helping the environment.
